Chris and Nicola have turned a dream into reality and the hotel is testament to an impressive labour of love. Located in one of the loveliest parts of the Piedmont region, in the heart of the Piedmont winelands near Asti. La Villa is surrounded by rolling hills, hilltop villages and glorious vineyards - the setting could not be better. This is perhaps the region of Italy that has the best food and wine so opening an hotel here means that expectations are high, I am pleased to say that Chris and Nicola have exceeded these expectations and considerably raised the bar.
The luxury is understated, service is impeccable and the hospitality that of yesteryear. Here you can unwind completely in the sort of place you will never want to leave. Spend a week with Chris and Nicola and I guarantee you will ask yourself why you don’t live in this most beautiful corner of Italy, you will certainly understand why Chris, Nicola and myself have made this corner of the world our home. Only 14 rooms are available ranging from single rooms through to opulent suites. Chris and Nicola are very flexible though and nearly all group sizes can be accommodated. The hotel gardens are magnificent with a superb swimming pool and magnificent views from the terrace and much of the grounds. One of the highlights is enjoying a wonderful breakfast or lunch under the covered pergola. For those of you who enjoy wine, the wine tasting room will be one of your favourite spots. Here you can enjoy the finest of Piedmont wines in the company of Nicola who is extremely knowledgeable about the local wines.
