One of my dreams has always been to restore an old home in the Le Marche or Piedmont countryside. I have not been able to afford to do it but it remains a passion and a dream. It is for this reason that I have decided to feature the houses of those who manage to carry out this labour of love and to do it well.

In most cases the owner has done exactly what I would have done and in most cases done it a lot better than I could have.

Relais Villa Giulia

The Old Schoolhouse

The Old Schoolhouse was once the local farm school and is now a beautiful country home that can accommodate a single couple or even up to four couples in great style and privacy and in a gorgeous setting. Read my review or visit their site here.
