The Heritage Guide Marches- Italian Touring Club

The Italian Touring Club guides are always good. They contain a wealth of detailed information on Le Marche. The information is very comprehensive but the part I like most about this book are the tour itineraries for the independent traveler. They have a dozen or so excellent driving and walking tours that will allow you to really discover this region.

The Blue Guides are invariably comprehensive though sometimes I find them a little heavy going. This is one of the best though, especially recommended for those who would like to explore the art and history of the Marches in detail.
