Magnificent Italian ImagesItaly is one of the most splendid countries on earth. The natural beauty, ancient villages and a unique light make Italy unlike anywhere else. These Italian photos come close to doing the beauty of Italy justice. They cover, for the most part, the three areas of Italy that my site is about - Marche, Sardinia and Piedmont although there are some lovely photos of other areas of Italy. I would have included many of these stunning Italian photos on the sites other pages but some of the bigger ones would have made the pages slow to load. I feel it would be a shame not to be able to share them and as a result I decided to put together a dedicated section to them. Please do be patient if these pages are a little slow to load.
I am not much good with a camera and therefore I must thank my friends Fabio Fava and also, Nicholas Baumgartner , Greg Little and Karl Baer for taking many of the photos on my behalf. Well done guys the photos are really spectacular. I have grouped the photos together under five categories below - the last section "virtual tours of Turin" includes some absolutely stunning video tours around the magnificent city of Turin (Torino).
