The hotel offers good service and the rooms are large and well finished. Everything has recently been refurbished in an old world sort of way, which I like, but perhaps it will not be to everybody's taste. Wonderful restaurants, museums and shops are literally on your doorstep and the upper floor rooms have lovely views across the city. It might only be a four star hotel but its understated elegance and ideal location in the heart of the city make it a better choice than the other couple of five star options.
