The Principi di Piemonte is ideal

If you are planning to spend a long weekend, Easter or Christmas in Italy then this hotel is perfect. Right in the heart of the main shopping and nightlife area of Turin. Don't just take my word for it - check out what previous guests have said. Turin's luxury hotels are fewer and less grand than the luxury hotels Venice can offer but the Principi di Piemonte is certainly my favourite and it is the place I always recommend to friends and family who are looking for a good hotel in this my home city. Only a four star hotel but its understated elegance and ideal location in the heart of the city make it a better choice than the other couple of five star options.

The hotel offers good service and the rooms are large and well finished. The hotel has recently been refurbished in an old world sort of way, which I like, but perhaps it will not be to everybody's taste.

Wonderful restaurants, museums and shops are literally on your doorstep and the upper floor rooms have lovely views across the city.
