A Fabulous 4 Star Hotel VeniceThe Liassidi Palace Hotel 
I know this isn't 5 stars but I really like this 4 star hotel. Venice is very expensive and perhaps if I could afford a 5 star hotel in Venice I would stay in one. Who knows maybe I will win Everything is nearby and the St Marks square is only a little way off and an easy walk. The rooms are very big with tons of room and nicely furnished. They also had a free computer to use which was a nice touch. Do yourself a favour and ask for a room with a view. They cost a little more but it is well worth it because the view of Venice is something you sure ain't going to match when you get home. Plenty of restaurants within a stones throw of the hotel. In my humble view the best 4 star hotel Venice can offer. John Andrew's reply: The Liassidi Palace Hotel does have a great reputation. You are not the first person to tell me what a wonderful hotel it is. By the way, my wife Maria has put together a list of the three or four luxury hotels in Venice we can highly recommend. Perhaps you could give one of these a try next time you visit Venice and please do let me know if you agree with us.
