Le Due Querce Agriturismo in Le Marche

Magic, Pure magic. An ordinary downstairs room in the family agriturismo serving the most beautiful le marche homegrown/ home cooked food. For me it was as close to foodie heaven as anyone can get.I was happily gobsmacked and nearly in tears.

No menu, Smells of olive wood fire, homemade pasta, wine from the vineyard, plate after plate of antipasti, babies and children running around, The cool and collected Paolo,truffles everywhere.

We were there in April with our noisy baby twins and our 6 year old and some friends who had joined us for a few days. Cheese on toast with shaved truffles anyone?

One of those eating experiences that haunt you dreams forever more.

Its between Penna San Giovanni and Monte San Martino in le Marche.

Andrew's reply: I like my truffles grasted over a fried egg - you really have to try it. It is the best!!
