Gourmet Italian Food

I have been promising to bring you the best of Piedmont's "slow food" and wine directly to your door for a while.

Thanks to my friend Max Pesare, from Slow Food, this is now a reality.

We have created a sister site in English and French with a whole range of fantastic food products. Max has spent the last few years traveling Piedmont and other areas of Italy, meeting all sorts of folks in little villages and hamlets, getting to know them and compiling a list of their products.

These products, endorsed by the Slow Food Association, are now available online.

Previously only to be found in little village markets and shops, they can now be delivered to your doorstep.

You will be able to try the best food in Italy online. Alba truffles and mushrooms, wonderful cheeses ranging from the better know Grana Padano and Gorgonzola through to the lesser known Toma and Murazzano and many more varieties that have never made it beyond Italy's borders.

Enjoy our finest salami, ham and the best of Piedmont's lesser known wines, not just the usual Barolo and Barbera to Dolcetto and Barbaresco but exceptional wines made from ancient grape varieties, little known outside of Italy. These are wines made not only for those who love wine but more especially for those who understand wine.

Piedmont's wonderful chocolates and sweets are also available. Without a doubt the world's finest chocolates. Perhaps a good idea would be to try our Gourmet Italian gift baskets.

Whatever you try I can assure you that no other site on the internet offers this quality of Italian food for sale outside of Italy.

Most other sites offer mass produced food products from Italy - often of good quality – but not exceptional. None of the food items here are mass produced and all are exceptional.
