DAY 1 – SATURDAY OR SUNDAY Milano Malpensa to the Langhe Wine region Transfer Milano Malpensa to your hotel, located in the breathtaking countryside of the Langhe, the wine area famous worldwide for its Barolo wine and white truffle, and thanks to the excellent local produce a celebrated enagastronomic destination, notable amongst these products are the hazelnuts used by Ferrero and numerous DOC cheeses. Artistically and culturally the area has much to offer with many magnificent castles and monuments. Check-in hotel Dinner at 1 Michelin star Restaurant in Monforte surrounded by vineyards. Overnight DAY 2 – MONDAY OR TUESDAY The Langhe R/T transfer and green fee for 18 holes at Golf course Cherasco. Whilst playing the 18 holes it is easy to be captivated by the stupendous panorama surrounding you, from the gentle hills of the Langhe, famous for great wines and white truffles, to the ridge of the Maritime Alps crowned by the impressive peak of Monviso. Afternoon: Guided tour and tasting at a local wine cellar, follow the process involved from the harvest to the bottle including the crushing of the grapes, now mechanically done, through fermentation and into the bottle or barrel Dinner in typical restaurant in Monforte Overnight
DAY 3 – TUESDAY OR WEDNESDAY Langhe to Turin/Torino AM: green fee 9 holes at Golf course Monforte, the ideal destination to combine golf with the pleasures of the palate. Play on a course surrounded by the hills of Barolo and where the 19th hole is the cellar, truly an unforgettable experience. Check-out hotel PM: Transfer Monforte / Torino Check-in Hotel Torino area. Guided tour of Turin, Italy’s first capital in 1861, founded by the Romans, from whose time can still be seen the Roman gate and walls (Porte Palatine) and the Roman theater. Of particular interest are the many magnificent buildings constructed during the reign of the Savoy Kingdom. Dinner at Hotel Restaurant Overnight
DAY 4 – WEDNESDAY OR THURSDAY Torino AM: R/T transfer and green fee 18 holes Royal Park Golf & Country Club, surrounded by the Alps of the Winter Olympics and immersed in a centuries old forest, this was once a Royal hunting reserve from which course derives its name. One of the premier golf courses in Italy. Dinner at Restaurant in Torino Overnight DAY 5 – THURSDAY Torino – Lake Maggiore AM: R/T transfer and green fee 18 holes at Golf Club Torino, set amidst woods, lakes and streams with the Alps providing a spectacular backdrop. Check-out hotel PM transfer to Grand Hotel Majestic in Pallanza, Lake Maggiore Check-in hotel Lake tour by private boat, discover the islands of the lake (Isola Madre, Isola dei Pescatori e l’Isola Bella), their palaces and breathtakingly beautiful gardens, filled with flowers all year round. DAY 6 – FRIDAY OR SATURDAY Lake Maggiore AM: R/T transfer and green fee at Golf Club des Iles Borromées, situated on the Stresa plateau at an altitude of 600 meters, an extremely varied and hilly course. This is certainly one of the most challenging golf courses in Italy.
